Text Box: Eric Button Board Chairman and Executive Consultant Eric Button is an invaluable source of entrepreneurial experience specializing in the formation of biotechnology companies. He is credited with the turnaround of Elcatech and served as President and CEO of Amplistar, Inc. before forming BioEmerge Partners in 2002. Mr. Button co-founded a diagnostic and drug discovery company in San Diego, Calif. Previously, he held senior management positions with Hybritech, Inc. and Strategic Technologies International, Inc. His duties included research and project management, business development, marketing, strategic planning and consultation. Of particular value to Onconix is his experience as leader of the PSA and cancer diagnostics unit at Hybritech. Mr. Button is a Babcock Entrepreneurial Fellow at the Wake Forest University Graduate School of Management. He is an instructor in the Business School and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His educational background includes a B. A. in Biology and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an M.S. in Genetics from the University of British Columbia.
